These grapes are not sour, but are yet not edible! Guess why…’coz they are not real!!! :) I saw “the making” first on TV. It didn’t take me too long to try it out myself. The first few didn’t come out well and looked like caramel chocolates..but later on I’d mastered the technique. Mixing chalk powder and ceramic powder gives you the basic dough for these grapes and leaves. Small spheres, leaves and creepers are then shaped and glued to the white plastic plate. Though white background gives them a better look, they can also be done on any designer and other colored plates. After allowing it to dry for a day, I painted them with acrylic colors and finally 2-3 coats of varnish to retain them "fresh" forever!
